Valley Sense

The Blog that used to promote of the 2nd attempt of the Democratic nominee for the House of Delegates from the 26th District. If any whiners really think this here blog is a violation of Campaign Finance laws, here's a disclaimer: THIS BLOG AIN'T AUTHORIZED BY NOBODY RUNNIN' FOR OFFICE. Sure, we've got our preferences, and we're gonna take the Founding Fathers up on their offer to let us say whatever we want under the First Amendment. So there.

Finding a Direction

I had not really planned to steer a blog on my own, but the availability of the Fulk Campaign's former mouthpiece proved irresistible.

I will exhaust some of my precious gray matter over the next couple of days determining a direction for the publication. Meanwhile, I will provide the 6 readers of ValleySense some of the creative product of an anonymous blogbuddy.

Close your eyes and transport yourself back to 1977 and replay that classic Fagen/Becker tune in your head.

As a French Benefit, we present to our audience a little ditty to be sung to the tune of Mr. Steely Dan's "Peg:"

'FULK'

I've seen your Democratic issues
Your name in lights above it
This is your second debut
It's like a dream come true
And when you smile for the camera
I know the voters are gonna love it

I like your bio shot I keep it
with your campaign letter
Done up in blue -- Democratic blue
Those lies sure look good on you
So won't you smile for the camera
I know the voters will love you better

Fulk
Democratic issues will come back to haunt you
Fulk
Democratic issues will come back to haunt you
Then the ballot box fails
You see it all on the 'Net
It's the perfect picture ending

I don't think I'll make ValleySense a forum for the creative outlets of conservative former art students and aficionados (there's a little Spanish for you, Pastor John). I can just see our pages getting clogged up with Howard Dean Haiku. And... how I will I ever fend off all the attempts to post video clips of Interpretive Dance performances starring Betty Jolly, Gail Nardi and Larry Hoover?

No, we won't go there. So enjoy this one time good deal.

It's back... Under NEW Management.

Evidently something spooked the prior ValleySense blogger and he/she/it dismantled the site.

I brought it back.

Now what?
