Phil Rodokanakis Elected President
The Board of Directors of the Virginia Club for Growth is pleased to announce the election of Phil Rodokanakis as the Club’s next President.
Paul Jost, the Chairman of the Board, had this to say about Rodokanakis’ election: “Phil’s election recognizes his many years of involvement as a grassroots activist. He is widely recognized as a leader who has worked tirelessly in Virginia for many years promoting economic growth through limited government and lower taxes.”
Bill Wilson, a Director-at-Large, added: “Phil’s conservative positions are widely known throughout the State through his Op-Ed columns that are regularly published on Bacon’s Rebellion (www.baconsrbellion.com), the Virginia News Source (virginianewssource.com), and other publications. He has worked closely with a number of elected officials and brings to the Club many years of experience.”
Rodokanakis said: “I am elated that the Board of Directors recognized my work over the years and has chosen me to lead the activities of the Club. Working with other organizations sharing similar political views and the Virginia Club for Growth’s PAC, I pledge to do my utmost to help elect representatives who stand firm on lowering the tax burden on working Virginia families and cutting back the unprecedented growth of state and local governments.”
Rodokanakis replaces Peter Ferrara who is now working with Free Enterprise Fund as the Director of the Social Security Project where he has been leading the fight to establish individual private accounts.
The Virginia Club for Growth is comprised of Virginia citizens and taxpayers dedicated to fighting for lower taxes, reduced regulatory burdens, controlled government spending, and other policies that will expand overall economic growth and prosperity for the working people of Virginia.
